Driveway & Concrete Cleaning in Delaware County
Driveways, sidewalks, walkways, steps and curbs cleaned edge to edge with a surface cleaner, for an even finish with no zebra stripes.

Front Steps And Walkway · Lansdowne, PA
A driveway is the largest single surface on most properties, and the sidewalk and front walk are the ones every guest actually stands on. Concrete is also where amateur work shows worst. Zebra striping, the wand-arc pattern left when a slab is cleaned freehand, stays there until the whole slab is cleaned again properly.
Why a surface cleaner, not a wand
A surface cleaner is a shrouded head with two spinning jets held at a fixed height. Every square inch gets the same pressure for the same dwell time, which is the only way to get an even finish across a few hundred square feet. A wand cleans faster in a straight line and leaves a record of every pass, which is why zebra stripes stick around.
The edges are the whole job
Anyone can clean the middle of a slab. The tell of a rushed job is a clean center with a dark two-inch border still on it, because the surface cleaner shroud cannot reach the edge and nobody went back with a wand. We detail the edges, the expansion joints and the curb line, which is most of the time on a walkway and all of the difference in the result.
Stamped and decorative concrete needs restraint
Color on stamped concrete is usually a surface treatment, not dyed through the slab. Too much pressure takes the color with the dirt. We drop pressure and let a longer dwell do the work, and we will tell you honestly when a slab is going to come up tan rather than new, because the color release is the color.
Oil, rust and the stains pressure cannot fix
A fresh oil drip lifts with a degreaser. Oil that has soaked into a slab for years lightens rather than disappears. Irrigation rust does not respond to pressure at all and needs its own treatment, and wet leaves print brown tannin shadows that fade with the right product. We tell you which ones you have before we quote, not after.
Why concrete turns dark
Concrete is full of tiny pores. Dirt, pollen, tire rubber and organic growth settle into them, and over a few years the whole slab darkens from its original pale gray or tan to something much duller. The darkest bands are usually where the tires sit and where water runs off the lawn. Cleaning lifts that material back out of the pores, which is why a washed slab often comes up lighter than the owner remembers.
Walkways, steps and the small pieces
The pieces people forget are the ones that make a property look finished: the walkway along the side of the house, the steps, the curb, and the concrete splash blocks under the downspouts. On a Drexel Hill job in September 2026 we cleaned the driveway, the public sidewalk, the walkways and a splash block under one of the downspouts, and the cracked side walkway and the splash block are in the photos below. The crack is still there, because cleaning does not repair concrete, but the slab around it is clean from edge to edge.
New concrete needs time
A newly poured slab should cure before it is pressure washed. Concrete keeps gaining strength at the surface for weeks, and high pressure can mark it. If your driveway or walkway is new, tell us when it was poured and we will schedule the cleaning for when it is ready.
Tire marks, leaf stains and the rest
Tire marks on a driveway usually lighten a lot with the right cleaner, and brown leaf shadows fade with treatment. Rust from sprinklers and old oil are the stubborn ones. Whatever is on your slab, we would rather tell you what will come out before the work starts than explain it afterwards.
Slip resistance is the point
A clean slab is a safer slab. The green-black film on shaded concrete is a living layer that holds water at the surface, which is why a shaded walk is slick after rain and a clean one is not.
Can you get rid of my oil stains completely?
Sometimes. Recent oil comes out with a degreaser. Old oil that has soaked deep into the concrete will lighten noticeably but usually will not vanish, and any company promising otherwise on a six-year-old stain is guessing.
Driveway & Concrete Cleaning, on real jobs.
Every photograph here is from a job we did.

I called Regent Wash out to pressure wash my driveway, sidewalk, walkway, oxidized siding and gutters in my older Drexel Hill home. Juelz came out very promptly, gave me a price and stuck to it. He did a phenomenal job cleaning my homes exterior and stood and until everything was done and done properly. My oxidized siding came very close to the original color, gutters were made pretty much brand new, and my sidewalk, walkway, and driveway was sparkling clean.
Juelz was very meticulous and diligent in his work to ensure I was happy and satisfied with the result. During the job, Juelz would power wash areas, see they weren’t perfect and would do them all over again even when they already looked perfect to me.
The price for the service they provide is absolutely unmatched.
Neighbors have been giving me compliments on how “bright” my house looks after his pressure washing service. If you’re looking to get your house washed or anything around your house power washed, I highly recommend giving them a call!
Thanks Regent Wash!
