Washed white siding on the gable end of a Hatboro, PA home, clean from ground to peak

Aston is straightforward, practical housing stock - mid-century singles and splits with vinyl siding and plenty of concrete - and it is the kind of property where a whole-exterior clean in one visit makes the most obvious difference for the money.

Vinyl is the most forgiving siding there is

Modern vinyl takes a soft wash extremely well. It does not chalk like old aluminum, it does not absorb like stucco, and the algae on it sits on the surface rather than in it. It is also the siding most often damaged by contractors who assume forgiving means indestructible - pressure behind a lap still drives water into the wall cavity.

Doing it all at once is the cheaper way

On an Aston property the siding, the driveway, the front walk and usually a rear patio or deck all want doing. Separate visits mean separate setup, and the surfaces age at the same rate so they need doing at the same time anyway. One visit is both cheaper and the only way the finished property looks consistent.

Mid-century homes and vinyl

Much of Aston's housing is mid-century, and many homes have been re-sided in vinyl over the years. Vinyl cleans beautifully with a soft wash, but older vinyl can also chalk and fade in the sun, and that chalk is oxidation rather than dirt. We will tell you which you have, and whether a wash alone or a wash with oxidation removal is the right call.

Fences along the property line

Many Aston lots are fenced, and a vinyl or wood fence along a shaded line can go green in a single season. Vinyl gets a soft wash that removes the film completely, and wood gets a wood-safe cleaner and a gentle rinse. We clean both faces unless you tell us otherwise.

Driveways, walks and the public sidewalk

Aston's mid-century lots usually come with a poured driveway, a front walk and a stretch of public sidewalk, and all three darken together. A surface cleaner gives them the same even finish, and the edges and expansion joints are done by hand. Cleaned along with the house, they make the whole front of the property look looked after.

Know The Town

Aston, in brief.

Aston was first settled in 1682 and incorporated in 1688, which makes it one of the first townships in Pennsylvania. It was called Northley until the township constable, Edward Carter, renamed it after his old home of Aston in Oxfordshire, England. Before that, the Lenni-Lenape lived along Chester Creek, and a Lenape family kept a wigwam on the Aston side of the creek as late as 1770.

Concord Road was the main colonial route between Chadds Ford and the port of Chester. At its Five Points intersection, the Seven Stars Inn housed the British General Cornwallis on September 13, 1777, two days after the Battle of the Brandywine. The inn is gone, and a veterans memorial now stands across from where it was.

Aston became a first class township in 1906, and its current boundaries date from 1945, when Chester Heights separated from it. Chester Creek forms its eastern border, and it takes in the Village Green and Green Ridge neighborhoods.

Aston sits in southwestern Delaware County, southwest of Media, with Chester Heights to the northwest, Chester Creek on the east and the City of Chester to the south. Concord Road and Pennell Road are the main routes through. Aston's neighborhoods are mostly quiet residential streets, which makes a whole-property visit simple to set up. Tell us if your home backs onto trees, since that side usually needs the most attention.

Aston Questions

Answered for this town specifically.

How much does pressure washing cost in Aston?
Quotes in Aston are free and specific to your property: which surfaces, how big they are, how dirty and how easy to reach. You get one clear number within 24 hours, and that is the number you pay. We are fully insured, and we take cash, card or check.
Is a whole-property clean much more than just the house?
Less than you would expect. Most of the cost of any visit is getting there and setting up, so adding the driveway and walkway to a house wash costs far less than booking them separately later.
Can vinyl siding be damaged by washing?
The panel itself is tough, but water forced up behind a lap joint gets into the wall and has no way out. That is a pressure-and-angle mistake rather than a vinyl problem, and soft washing top-down avoids it entirely.
How close is your nearest job to Aston?
Our September 2026 Drexel Hill job is about nine miles away. It covered oxidized siding, gutters, a driveway, a sidewalk, walkways and a porch, the same mix many Aston homes have.
My vinyl siding looks faded. Can you fix that?
Often, yes. Faded, chalky vinyl is oxidizing, and oxidation removal brings back much of the color. Siding that has faded all the way through will improve, but it will not look new.
Can you wash my house and clean my driveway on the same day?
Yes. Most Aston homes fit both into one visit, and booking them together costs less than two separate trips.
Do you serve Village Green and Chester Heights?
Yes. We serve all of Aston Township, including Village Green and Green Ridge, and neighboring Chester Heights.
Do you serve all of Aston?
Yes, all of Aston (19014), including the streets around Village Green, Pennell Road, Sun Valley and Concord Road. If you are just outside it, you are very likely covered too. Check our service areas or ask when you request a quote.
What do Aston homeowners book most?
Driveway & Concrete Cleaning. Driveways, sidewalks, walkways, steps and curbs cleaned edge to edge with a surface cleaner, for an even finish with no zebra stripes. It suits Aston’s mid-century singles and split-levels, many with vinyl siding and concrete flatwork, and it costs least booked with the rest of the property in one visit.
